Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Snapfast ("we", "us") collects when you use snapfast.ai and the related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It also covers the publicly available creator content the Service aggregates.

The data controller is SIA ALPFY, registration number 48503025227, registered address Kalna iela 16 - 6, Saldus, Saldus nov., LV-3801, Latvia. You can reach us at support@snapfast.ai.

1. Data we collect about you

Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to create and operate your account.

Usage data. We collect product analytics (pages viewed, features used, approximate device and browser information) to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Analytics are processed through PostHog on servers hosted in the European Union.

Content you add. The creators you follow, posts you save to favourites, notification preferences, and similar settings are stored so the Service can work for you.

Technical data. Like most services, we process IP addresses and request metadata in server logs for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.

2. Publicly available creator content

The core of Snapfast is an archive of content that creators have published publicly on platforms such as X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, GitHub, Spotify, and the open web — for example posts, videos, release notes, and engagement counts. We collect this content through platform APIs and third-party data providers, store it, and show it to users who follow that creator. We do not collect private or restricted content. If you are a creator and want content about you reviewed or removed, contact us at support@snapfast.ai.

3. How we use your data

  • to provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • to personalize your experience (your timeline, favourites, and summaries);
  • to send you transactional and product email, such as the weekly digest of activity from the creators you follow — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or in your notification settings;
  • to analyze usage and improve the product;
  • to detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a preference cookie for your theme. Optional analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can decline them without losing any functionality. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Service providers

We share data with a limited set of processors who help us run the Service: cloud hosting (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), analytics (PostHog, EU region), rate limiting (Upstash), AI processing for summaries and theme detection (OpenAI), and third-party data providers used to collect publicly available creator content. Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function.

6. Data retention and account deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile → Delete account; this immediately removes your profile, followed creators, favourites, folders, and email preferences. Residual copies (such as backups and server logs) are removed on their normal rotation schedule, except where we must retain data to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Aggregated creator content is retained as part of the archive that the Service provides.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you are in the EU or EEA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, object to the processing of, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@snapfast.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We protect your data with measures including encrypted connections (TLS), signed session cookies, access controls, and rate limiting. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
